Free Tutorial - Peculiar Corners Part 2 | |||||||
![]() For an inner corner, start as usual in the middle of a straight part, and sew to the corner - I have put a pin in to show where to stop. Back-tack as before and take the work out of the machine ![]() Tip the binding out of the way and snip into the corner exactly to the stitching line as shown (it's a much better idea to sew, then snip, as you can see what is happening) ![]() Start the stitching a little way back and when you get to the corner again, pull the quilt edge underneath so that it is in a straight line under the binding. Sew across, then continue to the next corner... ![]() When you turn the binding over there will be a little crumple like sew... ![]() Push the mitre into shape with a pointy tool, and stitch it down when you are finishing the binding..
